One of the newest features of Kim on a Limb is one I’m the most excited for – I have a small little shop! Right now it really is small, but I hope over the months more useful products will be added.

My goal with the Kim on a Limb shop is to offer products, first and foremost, that will help readers organize all of the information life throws at us. There’s so much we need to do from keeping track of medical inforamtion to buying food to keeping track of car maintenance … it’s really hard to remember a lot of the time.

After my mental breakdown in the summer of 2021, my memory is not as good as it used to be. If I don’t have something written down, I’ll forget it. In the beginning I would write things down on whatever piece of paper I could find. Without fail I would either lose the scrap of paper or not take enough information down that when I went back to my notes, I had no clue what any of it meant! It was extremely frustrating for me. That’s when I realized the importance of making sure that I have specific spaces to write down any notes or information.

As of right now the Kim on a Limb shop is going to have printables. I have a very simple, clean, minimal style. Bright colors and thin, curly, cutesy fonts make my head hurt, so a lot the printables I offer will be simple with a small splash of color. I want to make sure these are products that I use in real life. I don’t want to sell something just because. There are four colors I’m working with – purple, green, blue, and gray.

I am always open to ideas and suggestions. If there’s something you think would be a great addition to the shop or a color you would like to see, please let me know! More than anything I want to help people to quiet the crazy in life that comes from a chronic illness, and if there’s something I can make that will help someone then I am all for it.

In the future I would like to offer physical products. I have some ideas, but like I said above, I want to make sure that what I sell adds values to a person’s life and isn’t something to sell just to sell.
